Developing for the aviation world has its own technical challenges – and here we’re talking about simpler things than walking down that unpaved Innovation Road. Testing, for instance is one of these challenges. We cannot go out to the airfield and take off for a flight after every line of code – although that would be awesome. Still, as challenges usually go, there are solutions that move our case forward until the next flight is scheduled.

But what we can do is that we can simulate flying. For this purpose, we use a panoramic simulator by SimPit Technologies running Prepar3d by Lockheed Martin, for which we had a frame custom-built by Fab Lab Budapest.
