We love art. We even have a media artist in our rows at Aero Glass, with projects exploring the meeting points of science, technology and art. Last week, we were fortunate enough and extremely happy to help a theatrical production focusing on the new novel by acclaimed novelist László Krasznahorkai come to life.

The prestigious Pesti Theatre staged a special book première for the freshest novel, Baron Wenckheim’s Homecoming by Man Booker Prize-winning Hungarian novelist, László Krasznahorkai in the frame of the Night of Theatres in Budapest. The audience was guided into the novel’s peculiar world by renowned actress/director Enikő Eszenyi and the by author himself with help from a writer/publisher, a mathematician, a psychiatrist and a composer.

The twist (or one of the twists) of the evening was that part of the event (intentionally) took place in complete darkness, and this is where Aero Glass came into the picture. The introduction to the novel was to be read live on stage without lights, to which we supplied the solution. We provided the Theatre with one of our ODG R-6 smart glasses to be used as an ebook reader. The text appeared in white over a black background in order to ensure proper readability and to minimize stray light form the device in harmony with the artistic concept.
